Dennis and Mary purchased Appleview in 2008, beginning a new chapter for this family orchard.
Growing together
The home farm spans 23 acres. A second farm brought the combined orchard to about 4,000 trees, with peaches, pears, plums, cherries and nectarines alongside the apples.
More than 20 apple varieties ripen across the season. Ice cream season begins in May; apple activities generally begin in late August or early September. Farm eggs, summer produce and seasonal fruit add to the country store’s offerings.
A place to come back to
The animals, playground, picnic spaces and hillside views are as much a part of Appleview as its apples. Come for the harvest and stay for a quiet moment together.
